The Knot Standard store carries more than 1,000 high quality fabrics sourced from the finest English and Italian mills including Holland & Sherry, Vitale Barberis, Reda, Loro Piana and Zegna. These top fabrics patterns can be digitally applied to the 3D model in real time. The Knot Standard store-in-store business model requires zero inventory and is powered by expert stylists and a 54 inch LED touchscreen, combining the best of old world tailoring service with new age technology.
“Our store-in-store shop within Bloomingdale’s represents a milestone within the custom clothing industry. For the first time, 3D technology brings the customer experience above and beyond the traditional tailor fabric swatch books, and now allows clients to visualize full products before buying.”- John Ballay, CEO and Co-Founder of Knot Standard
Knot Standard Co-Founder and President Matt Mueller added, “The level of customization our proprietary technology enables is exponentially higher than made-to-measure. From the shape of the lapel to the lining choice to the color of the button hole thread, the customer for the first time can become the designer with 100% creative control.”
