Today I’m going to share with you guys my views on the Kylie Birthday Edition Gold Lip Kit in the shade Dolce K. It was basically to unveil her new range of cosmetics to celebrate her 19th birthday. This limited range is aptly called Kylie Birthday Edition which consists of eyeliners, eyeshadow, lip glosses and a lip kit of her most favorite matte lipsticks. The collection is infused with real gold and all that jazz that one can expect from a Kardashian-Jenner.

The packaging is stunning because its from her limited birthday edition, its in a gorgeous golden box with dripping lipstick on Kylie’s lips. The lips have the same color as the lipstick. The box includes a set of liquid lipstick with a doe foot applicator and a lip pencil. The lip liner is the bonus point as you don’t really have to struggle or hunt for a separate lip liner that would go with the lipstick.
The texture of lip liner is creamy, matte and glide on lips so easily. The texture of lipstick is creamy matte yet it is a very comfortable formula. It goes on lips beautifully gives smoothness to lips. The formula is probably the best one I have tried so far among liquid lipsticks. It has an amazing caramel vanilla fragrance which can be easily worn. Also the lasting power is amazing, It can stay for more than 8 hours without any touch up.
Dolce K is one of my most favorite shades from the range. Its a soft taupe brown color, for me its my everyday perfect nude which has mauve undertone. I can easily pull out this lipstick with a smokey eye or any dramatic eye look. It is extremely pigmented and just one swipe is enough to cover the lips.
Overall it is one of the most stunning matte lipstick I have in my collection. Some shades from the range may not be your cup of tea so need to be sure before getting one but the formula, texture and the lip liner is just amazing and you should definitely try at least once and I’m sure even you’ll go gaga about it.
